Happy Sunday everyone! For all my people who HATE glutes time! This is a great, short workout to really isolate this area further and get strong, toned glutes! We also bring in upper body control and of course core work! Glutes exercises are often always challenging because we don’t isolate them fully in normal workouts, but use them along with our other leg muscles. The pilates exercises truly get to the point and will ensure strength fast! Play the workout here.
Everybody knows about planks and planking, so today I wanted to take it right back to basics and discuss one of the simplest exercises in a bit more detail. The most common response when asked “what do planks work?” is simply “the core”. YES! They are brilliant for your core, but also so so much more! The plank is a whole body exercise and recruits many other muscle groups simultaneously, making it a proper compound exercise.

So today was Work Out At Work Day!- this is a nationwide physiotherapy drive to encourage fellow co-workers (and the nation!) to participate in more exercise, and to move more at work!
We ran Pilates classes for staff, circuits classes and provided small fitness challenges!
